This year, the conference welcomes in particular work related to the following themes: History , Cultural Heritage , Games , and Future . In 2018, the conference seeks to extend the scope of digital humanities research covered, both into new areas, as well as beyond the Nordic and Baltic countries. In pursuit of this, in addition to the abstracts familiar from humanities traditions, we also adopt a call for publication ready texts as is the tradition in computer science conferences.

The Conference will be held at the University of Oslo on the 15th and 16th of March, and at the Norwegian National Library 17th of March. Digital humanities is a highly international area of research. However, as an increasing part of Nordic (including Baltic) cultural heritage is being digitized, new resources are made available for digital humanities research. Nordic Digital Humanities Laboratory provides a shared software and application layer for modeling and analysis of cultural heritage data across the Nordics.
